Second place in the semis. We race again in about an hour!

It was a close one! Tough competition, time of 2:22 behind Bridge City Blue and Wasabi Power. We race again just after noon.

First race starting @ 10am! Go 'Flies!

The OWLS Dragonflies will be competing this Saturday (July 13th) at the Kent Cornucopia Days Dragon Boat Races on Lake Meridian in Kent, Washington.  If you’re in the area, come on by to cheer us on. (We’re the ones wearing purple jerseys and covered with dragonfly accessories!) 

The Kent Cornucopia Days Dragon Boat Race is celebrating its 13th year and will be benefitting the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing. Over 50 teams from Oregon, Washington and Canada will be participating, making the Kent Race the largest dragon boat race in Washington.  

Our first race of the day is the Women’s Division Heat #1 at 10:00 am. We’ll be facing tough competition straight out of the gate: Bridge City Team Velocity Blue, Wasabi Power and Pink Phoenix.
